Resilience and Resistance has been a year long project run by Young Women’s Music Project and made possible thanks to public funding by Arts Council England through a National Lottery Project Grant. The aim is to platform the experiences and needs of the girls, women, non binary and trans people we work with, and the youth and arts leaders and workers who run organisations supporting them.

This EP highlights four tracks created by YWMP participants over the past 6 months, reflecting on the themes of Resilience and Resistance in relation to experiences of the pandemic and as young people creating music.

This is released alongside a resource created in collaboration with four different organisations across England and a short film of interviews.
